Porcelain keepsake Birth Eggs
These amazing little eggs hail originally from England in the 1930’s, when they were given to women by their midwives.
It was considered good luck for both the mother to be and the baby, for the upcoming labour.
The porcelain is poured very thick so that the mother can hold and squeeze her little egg during labour.
